Chuck Novatka
Wrights For All: Dramatic writing programs for students of all ages
Your Words, Your Voice, Your Stage
Chuck Novatka is a professional educator, actor, and writer. Chuck has fused the elements of drama into developing programs that have helped hundreds of students create, and perform in, their own written works.
Personal highlights include: Appearing with Alec Baldwin in Tony Walton's production of Peter Shaffer's play, Equus. Performing his self-written, one-man show, Water Under the Fridge, at the Manhattan Theatre Club, under the direction of Tony Award winning director and producer Murphy Cross. And, most recently, for adapting Philip Pullman's (Author of The Golden Compass) book Clockwork into both a screenplay and stage play.
Chuck is currently the Director of Theatre at Centaurus High School, in Lafayette, and teaches middle school English full-time at Quest Academy. He lives in Englewood with his beautiful wife, Mary, their two young children, and their over-talkative Sheltie, Gimlet.
