CherryArts presents the 24th Annual Denver Chalk Art Festival, Colorado’s premier street painting event. For one weekend, more than 200 professional, amateur, and student artists take to the pavement in Denver’s Golden Triangle Creative District, transforming city streets into a vibrant open-air gallery filled with larger-than-life chalk art. Inspired by the 400-year-old Italian tradition of street painting, this FREE, family-friendly festival celebrates creativity while advancing CherryArts’ mission to expand access to arts education and cultural experiences across Colorado.
Denver’s most colorful event offers something for every sense, with incredible chalk art installations, live music, local food trucks, craft drinks, and interactive art experiences for all ages. Visitors can watch the artwork come to life in real time, connect with artists, and vote for their favorites in the coveted People’s Choice Award. Drawing tens of thousands of attendees each year, the Denver Chalk Art Festival has become one of the city’s most beloved and photogenic summer traditions, where art, culture, and community come together on the streets of downtown Denver.
